Family Camp
Welcome to Transracial Journeys Camp 2024! We are excited to announce this year's theme:
Intentional Inclusivity: Creating a Bright Path to Community and Belonging.
As always, we will create space for deep learning and development as well as moments for joy and connection. Together, we will work to soften the sharp edges of exclusion that come with adoption, family separation and differences of race. Together, with our amazing presenters, counselors and staff, we will co-create the brightest path to belonging for the children entrusted to you through adoption, for you as parents and for your extended family.
Camp will be held August 1-4 at Ohio University and registration is now open! Please note, we will only be accepting 40 families in total and last year we sold out in 48 hours. We will create a waiting list once camp sells out.

We are in the process of finalizing the camp schedule details for another impactful family camp event. Below is an example of a past Family Camp Schedule, so that you can get an idea of what to expect when your family participates on the Transracial Journeys Family Camp endeavor. We hope to be able to include you in Family Camp 2024.

Camp Registration is Open: 2024 Fees
Below is a list of registration fees based on family size. Payments can be made by credit card, check, or by payment plan. Your spot will be reserved when we receive your down payment of $500 or more, and needs to be paid in full by July 1, 2024. More details in the following registration pages.
- Family size of Two - $1,800
- Family size of Three - $2,600
- Family size of Four - $3,200
- Family size of Five - $3,600
- Family size of Six - $4,000
- Add $500 per Additional Member over 6
CANCELLATION POLICY
If a family is unable to attend for reasons other than Transracial Journeys cancels Family Camp 2024, the following policy applies. A $25 administrative fee is non-refundable. Cancellations received on or before May 1, 2024 will receive a full refund, less the admin fee. For cancellations between May 2-July 1, 2024, 50% of total fees will be refunded, less the admin fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations after July 1, 2024. All cancellations must be made in writing or by email and take effect on the day they are received. Cancellations are final only when you receive acknowledgment from us.
